Citrus hystrix fruit

Contains many seeds and very little juice, which is not used for cooking.

Thai women boil the fruits until soft and then make them in to a paste which is applied to the hair and scalp to treat dandruff, and give lustre to the hair.

Malay = "limau purut" / Thai = "luuk makrut"
