before reading the caption, i looked at this photo and it evoked in me a type of melancholy, like a man trapped or lost somewhere, perhaps in his own mind. lost in thought, in confusion, like someone lost at sea, a drop in the ocean, who am i? what is my place in this mess?

very thought provoking, perhaps my favourite
