Note the new growth and branchlets are often red/redish brown. The phyllodes (flattened petioles which reseble leaves) are alternate. ie rarely two phyllodes will have the same (opposite sides of stem) growth positions.

Grows in rocky areas and eucalypt forests around Queensland New South Wales border.
