I just sowed the first seeds from the semi cristate, the pod only had 4 seeds in it unfortunately. I will graft every seedling and post some updates, fingers crossed for some freakiness

I'm sure hoping you have saved some pollen for when your variegates open up next as I would love to see cristate x variegated and variegate x cristate.

I haven't saved any pollen, but either way my variegates aren't flowering yet, I doubt they will flower this season no tufts on the horizon unfortunately.

 

However I got this nice sight just now, 3 of the semi cristate heads are flowering again

There we go! Self pollinated those thoroughly, and I had 4 other lophs in flower today so I used pollen from the mutant on all of them. They're under shade cloth so little risk of bug pollination.

Pure sweetness my friend. Looking forward to seeing those little babies grafted asap!
