MeanGreen Posted May 12, 2018 (edited) Yeah they're somewhat related I think, although they're probably not the closest cousins. They really do look like small lophs with long nails like spines. Lophophora jourdaniana is thought to be an interspecific hybrid with Turbinicarpus.
