Cheers dude, a container was about as minimal as I could go (so glad I didn't go for a caravan). Shipping containers have all the properties of a comfortable cave and are lockable too. It's my first 'home' and I love it warts and all. I'll prolly paint it green and grow vines all over it to help it blend in to it's surrounds.

That's an awesome idea; I concur re: container over caravan. Every van I've seen that been in place for over a decade on communes etc has been rusted out and degrading much quicker than one would expect. They're also freaking tiny spaces to work with and everyone I've met who lives in one full-time has been experiencing depression to varying extents, I know I would after a few years... I like the modular aspect of the container path also- and they come with flooring pre-installed :P
