MeanGreen Posted August 11, 2017 I don't know man these were shipped to me as is by an awesome fellow SABer along with all the other plants & leaves I just posted. I was told leaves root quickly (about a week) but it takes a while for the new shoots to pop up (couple months I think). I have put leaves of 3 different strains of viridis in pots to root today, I'll keep you posted. Quote Link to comment
MeanGreen Posted August 11, 2017 Actually I asked the man himself and he said they take about 4 weeks to root and 8 weeks+ to sprout shoots. Quote Link to comment
stona86 Posted August 12, 2017 They take a while from leaf cuttings by the sounds of it. Ive got stem cuttings that a refusing to throw roots.. Do you keep yours in humid conditions? Quote Link to comment
MeanGreen Posted August 12, 2017 Yes I'm keeping the small ones in mini-greenhouses for the time being, but my established viridis and alba are just in my grow tent where it's pretty dry right now for reasons you know, and they seem happy they are growing. Apparently it can take a very long time for leaves to root and sprout if they are not in ideal conditions, like over a year. Quote Link to comment
