Greeting and salutations to everyone!

Although my post count and registration date shows that i am only new to this community and forum, i need to preface what i'm saying with the tried and true "Long time listener, first time caller" line before what i'm about to ask. After spending a good 45-60mins searching this forum for a relevant and real world response to such a generic question i came up underwhelmed and was inclined to create this thread.

As a single mother of 2 i have had enough of being a slave to my "vices" and after a rude wakeup call with my youngest last week, i've decided to change my life around for the sake of my darlings and do something about it.

To cut a long (boring) story short, what i'd like to know and hear from you all is: What can somebody expect IN THE REAL WORLD (not just regurgitating a post from 2001 from a forum in Turkey) if they ordered an obscure medication from overseas and had it confiscated once it landed on our shores?

Disregarding the obvious patrionising/condescending replies i WILL be getting, i'd genuinely like to know if anyone has ordered things overseas and if they have, what did they go through? If somebody where to order something, for the sake of argument say, a blister pack of an unknown derivative of a muscle relaxing agent, was there experience basically that of getting their shipment burnt and getting a threatening letter in the mail and that was the end of that?

For a good muscle relaxant that 1 wont break ya bank or risk having a shipment burnt & a nasty letter from Aust customs / Feds My advice to you is to buy from your local Amcal chemist a product called Calm produced by (Brayer) company 2 -3 dissolved under the tongue morning and nightly has aided myself with severe cardiac symptoms  all it is  (Magnesium) the cardio specialist I see told me it is a very effective muscle relaxant & I feel it helped me beyond my wildest expectations so it may be worth a try for you ?

Hoping all goes well for you in the future

Kind regards BB

I suspect you will need to name the "muscle relaxant" if you want specific advice.

Magnesium is awesome, natures chill pill. Attentive breathing exercises also work very well for me if I find myself in an anxious or depressed state. I know u get restless leg syndrome and as a fellow sufferer the best remedy I have found is some mag tablets and a very hot shower. I think ur issue is to learn how to calm yourself down naturally, without having to zonk urself with meds.
Tbh more sedatives is the last thing you need IMO, btw I hope your children are doing well young lady that sure was a miracle of nature. I'm guessing seeing as to your lack of action those little grubs of yours where divinely conceived :0

Like beeralternative said, would have to know exactly what medication your talking about.

Importing any drugs can be tricky, you have to do a lot of research to make sure your not breaking customs, state or federal laws, all different bodies with sometimes contradicting laws.

Are you aware of the "blanket" analogue laws that were introduced a while back??

Welcome to the forums by the way :)

If you think customs may be an issue, you could try looking for an Aussie vendor?

I think she means more, what are peoples experiences with ordering prescription drugs from over seas.

How does the actual process work, what happens and wht do you hve to do?

Good too see you round gain sedation nation, you minxy princess you

Psychedelics are like swimming, if you paddle around in the sunshine in the wading pool. Its hard to go wrong. But if you like to dive to the bottom of the deep dark ocean to look at the bottom of the icebergs, that can be a different story altogether. If your not respectfully scared of pretty much all psychedelics i think maybe your just paddling. Paddling is fun, but the bottom of the ocean where the weird things live is where the real adventure is at....

Sorry sedation nation, after reading hillbilios's post then rereading yours I understand your question better.

My limited understanding is that it's technically no different to buying pharmacueticals here.

If you can buy it off the shelf here without a prescription, ibuprofin, paracetamol, etc then you can order it no probs. There may be limitations on quantity.

If you need a prescription to buy it here then the same applies to ordering online. Most of the overseas mail order pharmacies have a Medical Doctor employed that after a "online" consultation will write you a prescription that is sent with the pharmaceuticals to satisfy customs etc. This seems to be a wee bit unethical, and possibly a bit of a grey area legally??

I worked with a guy who had a genuine diagnosed condition who would do exactly this, purely for fiscal reasons. He never ran into problems as far as I know??

If it's a banned drug(or an analogue of a banned drug) then you would be importing banned substances which isn't worth the risk IMHO. It may result depending on what it is in more pain than just confiscation and a letter from customs.

All of this is second hand knoledge so please don't take as gospel.

Good luck!!!

mmm.  from what i've gathered over the years, things like painkillers or benzos could very well land you in trouble if customs opens the package, whereas less suspicious/notorious items (which nonetheless require a prescription), such as nootropics for instance, are known to be opened by customs often/usually without ramification.

if it's something like valium you're after, i hope somebody can give you some more specific advice possibly via PM, but the answer  is presumably that in the event that customs opens the package then the best outcome you could hope for is that the package simply not arrive.

we all take turns saying things we will probably regret.. for better or worse, is just the way it goes :)

you can order 3 months worth of any prescription med if you have a prescription for it. if you don't then customs may take it off you, but that risk is pretty small [1 in 10 if it is shipped in  padded envelope rather than a parcel].

There are some big exceptions to this rule, including steroids, benzos, opiates, hangover cures, yohimbine, etc  These require an authority from the health department for import.

All psychoactive substances are also prohibited regardless of whether they are illegal drugs or not. This is a new law, so unclear just where the actual boundaries are.

it would be a lot easier to give advice if I knew which substances you are thinking of.

How is 'psychoactive' defined? Isn't caffeine psychoactive? I thought alcohol and even tobacco by definition were psychoactive.

What we take to be true is our reality."

Psychoactive is defined as anything that hasn't already entered into a lucrative deal with the ATO. The ATO is part of a protection racket for multinational corporations.

Edit : sarcasm

pointles spost there sally as the ATO has noting to do with it. Maybe you were thinking of the TGA?

Convergence, there are other posts outlining the federal NPS laws which also elaborate on that definition.

I did say it was sarcasm Torsten.

I was thinking about the story Ray from Happy high herbs told about when he was trying to get an organic tobacco operation setup in Australia and the ATO stopped him at every turn.

I'm not trying to stir the pot and please remove the link if is breaking any rules, but I bumped into this the other day http://anonshop.net/blog.php

Totally illegal and possibly a honey pot but their methods are interesting, and their range impressive.

If only it really was that easy.

haha, yes sally, that was a bit of a different background though. The ato definitely wants to keep tobacco channels as low in number as possible. But ultimately it is possible to get the license as long as you comply with all the security requirements - which are huge for a business dealing in excisable goods. I am going through a similar thing at the moment with an alcohol license. because i could not provide adequate security [similar to what was required of Ray] I have to pay 6 months of projected excise in advance as a bond. That way if we lose the booze for whatever reason [theft, or even just a nosey cow breaking into the shed and tipping everything over] the ATO is not left chasing its share.

That's a pretty blatant site fenris. can't see that lasting long.

Fenris dunno if that site is a honey trap, read the scam reports - more likely just an "idiot tax".
