walked into my garage where all my seedlings are and busted a dove running amuck amongst the cacti! lost quite a few loph seedlings as well as various others. One 5cm cactus looked like it had been pecked, plus it took me a good 5 minutes to get the bugger out :uzi:

doves are shits of things, i dont care about their peace ambassador status. They breed like fucking rabbits, muscle other native birds out, stomp all over seedlings,

steal dogs biscuits, nest where i dont want em, and are just generally uber-tenacious flying weeds!

Moved one of each seedling from the greenhouse inside under lights inside a 3ft fishtank. Tomorrow I plan on painting the three sides white leaving the front clear and just glass, then ill find a nice fitting towel to drape over the top... Instant spring again for more of my babies...

Also repotted 65 very special seedlings of the button type. Need to find more seeds for another sow ASAP.... Anyone reading here can help???

making me drool there Colhawk!

I came in again to find 2 doves pecking at my buttons! Grrrrr! some big peck marks in there too and a whole bunch more seedlings destroyed. 2 dogs live in my garage too sleeping through the whole thing! is there anything I should do in regards to the pecks on the buttons or should I just leave them to heal on their own?

Lok Im with you, even if they were white doves pecking away the rage would still be there :BANGHEAD2:

Secure them better would be my first step ;) maybe some sulphur dust (I think it's what's used) but just keep dry and they should be ok.

Col, I'd love to bring the Agnihotra bowls up for a ceremony in that cave!!

puppies no longer get the luxury of lounging around in my garage now during the day, locked up tight, I thought it would be a one off but I was wrong!

Col has me wanting to build a pergola now lol

Do we need to make an appointment these days ? :P

We'll have to organise another meet soon.

Gave the mother aya vines a good dose of ash and energy this morning. They are still growing and shooting daily despite this cold snap.

Took a heap of cuttings today of various plants I'm overwintering indoors. Gotta love that all year growth ;)

I also spread some special mycelium around some mother plants in pots. Hopefully mother aya and the psycotrias don't mind their new cosmic partner in crime.
