Nice work man! How old is the kanna? And any tips for germinating viridis? I've just started some trichs, nicotianas and chillies on my 'sill: )

Thanks mate :).

The kanna is about 3 months old. For the viridis, just keep the soil moist at all time, it will take quite a long time to germ, mine took 4 months lol.

i grew psychotria viridis in brighton sussex, and always removed the humidety dome over the summer there, over winter i kept them under a dome, because of the central heating.

if you keep them under so much moisture, the plants will be sluggish and weak.
hardening out those plants would be my choice.

little bits of time out of the humidity, gradually extending to the point where they can last a whole day without starting to look sickly. You will be able to tell when the plant has had enough time out of its humidity bag as it will start to look like a sack of shit. At this point put it back in and try to repeat the process later or tomorrow for a bit longer.

edit: also, that TBM is throwing some mad pups, none of mine have been elongated like yours. I wonder if it could be a different variety ?

an other methode is to have a little hole in the dome, and as such reduce humidety a bit, but not as drasticly as, no dome at all.

i prefere to use softdrink bottles with the bottom cut off, instead of plastic bags (they need structure to keep them up and you can't get a clear view), and take the cap off, once i start hardening out.

if you take the dome off, the first time, you have to stay with the plant for a while, and check for signs of wilting, every 30 min or so, but, how fast they might wilt, depens aswell on your local weather. one can loose a plant, within a few hours, if not carefull.
