Hi all,

After a recent bout of rain have had mushies popping up everywhere in the garden (cane mulch).
This is the first time I've seen any, but they are everywhere..
I've not taken any spore prints and the photo's are about two weeks old. Attached File  P6270497.JPG   1.8MB   7 downloadsAttached File  P6270499.JPG   1.62MB   9 downloadsAttached File  P6270494.JPG   1.79MB   8 downloadsAttached File  P6270490.JPG   1.81MB   7 downloadsAttached File  P6270501.JPG   1.78MB   8 downloads From a bit of googling the above maybe Hypholoma aurantiaca?
Attached File  P6270507.JPG   1.77MB   7 downloadsAttached File  P6270503.JPG   1.81MB   3 downloads and these probably Aseroe Rubra?

Now they'e all brown and slimy, thinking that if they pop up again I'll take some prints to further confirm, any suggestions much appreciated

Last two definitely Aseroe Rubra.

and quite possibly right on Hypholoma sp.

pic #5 looks like a galerina to me, annulus (?) and brown cap.

Need to get the shrooms in better focus. I know it can be hard, but some fine features can be important for better identification.

Cheers, Ob.

Yeah it was some rushed photos when the rain was eased up to just sprinkling..

will definitely get the SLR out if they pop up again to get a sharper picture (and take some prints as well)

Cheers

To ones are Stropharia/Hypholoma aurantiaca. I know of people that have accidently consumed this mushroom and experienced significant stomach issues for days but were lucky they didnt die.
