I recently recieved some plants from a friend, one of the plants is a well established Psychotria species labelled as Psychotria bacteriensis.

I can't find any mention of this plant online and have tried spelling it in various ways.

Is there a list out there of all the Psychotria species that I could check for something similar sounding? I know there are 1000+ species so it could be hard.

i know of psychotria bacteria, which has longer and more pointed leaves, and psychotra bacteriophila which does look some what similar to yours. nice plant man

Cheers man, I think you might be right about it being Psychotria punctata (bacteriophila). It's one of the few Psychotria species that can be imported here so it would make sense.
