The again dworx, if someone makes an offensive accusation and then behaves like this maybe the best you can do is put her on ignore yourself. Her comment in this thread indicates she isn't actually sorry for whatever she accused you of as otherwise she would have tried to at least be contrite about the situation. All she posted was more accusations and a sympathy card. Isn't that all the response you need? I think it is pretty indicative.

she did acknowledge that the accusation (which initially had grounds) was not accurate.

In Occidental theology, the word transcendent is used to mean outside of the world. In the East, it means outside of thought. To imagine that your definitions of your God have anything to do with that ultimate mystery is a form of sheer idolatry from this standpoint. Your God is good enough for you and mine’s good enough for me. A God, from this point of view, is merely a reflex of one’s ability to conceive of God. Since people have various abilities of this sort, they have various powers of apprehending God.

jesus. im glad i dont have a net connection to go to the lab anymore. wtf? dworx ur a pretty nice, however quite loose, kinda guy.
i always enjoyed chatting with meeka as she seemed the sanest laber out of the bunch. from what i experienced in the lab there could always be a bit of a gang up mentality, often meeka was on the receiving end.
its also no secret that dworx had a hard-on for meeka so id say this has come into it as well.
alls im saying is i wouldnt judge meeka at all in this dear readers,
im sure the back story is long, twisted and fickle.
dworx and meeka are top peeps, sad u had to smear this shit in a forum that has nothing to do with the lab.
dworzx ur a grown man now, stop acting like a 9 yr old.

i could also put my freud wannabe cap on as well and speculate that amz has a lil closet jelousy of meeks for the attention she received in lab, and will be quick to add a few shots under the belt in this ensuing saga. alls i can say is, GROW THE FUCK UP AND MOVE ON. GET A LIFE, A JOB OR SOMESHIT. MAYBEE EAT SOME FUCKING SHROOMS & SUCK SOME NITROUS AND SEE HOW PATHETIC THIS IS. NOBODY FUCKING CAREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES.

"The only freedom which counts is the freedom to do what some other people think to be wrong. There is no point in demanding freedom to do that which all will applaud. All the so-called liberties or rights are things which have to be asserted against others; who claim that if such things are to be allowed, their own rights are infringed or their own liberties threatened. This is always true, even when we speak of the freedom to worship, of the right of free speech or association, or of public assembly. If we are to allow freedoms at all there will constantly be complaints that either the liberty itself or the way in which it is exercised is being abused, and, if it is a genuine freedom, these complaints will often be justified. There is no way of having a free society in which there is not abuse. Abuse is the very hallmark of liberty." Quintin Hogg, Baron Hailsham of St Marylebone

does it count as an accusation if the PM was deleted and the sender noted that she changed her mind?

so the email notification function allowed the PM to be read, but the sender reported that she had second thoughts about sending it?

and the recipient was infuriated and demanded an apology for the PM that the sender had second thoughts about?

what right does a person have to force a person to pay attention to them?
If i don't get along with a member and block them does that give them the right to take a conflict public?
What kind of standard is that?

I don't see anyone in this as wrong or right.
It is typical human behavior when our pride becomes injured to act in this manner.
it does not make it wrong or right, just natural

Absolutely. I´d love to see alien scientists trying to understand our mating behaviour: "and then the alpha male is trying to convince the doe to engage in the mating ritual by calling her "bitch go back to your mother" and beating her with a stick until her uterus is ready to receive...." Dinosaurs probably killed themselves at the first glance of homo erectus.

C'mon ease up guys

She knows she's fucked up and from what I interpreted she wishes she never sent that message.

Everyone makes mistakes and sometimes when we're going through a rough patch we lash out at the people closest to us.
I cruised her profile and it seems like she hasn't been active here since this happened and her parting comments on her profile indicate that there could be more going on than what we've seen.
She contributed in a positive way until this episode and I enjoyed reading her posts.

dworx had a gripe and he was right to put it here as he wasn't getting any responses to PM's but he hasn't layed the boot in he's just stated what happened.

You've had your fun, let her and dworx sort it out

I wasn't having a go at meeka btw. The picture I made was more a joke about Bundy's post rather than anything to do with meeka. I have nothing against her and any communication I've had with her on these forums has always been positive. Her response in this thread seemed a bit childish, but her presence on here has been a positive one since she joined, and I hope she hasn't left the forums or anything.

Bloody hell. If you intimidate and bag the girl out enough, hopefully you’ll force her to apologize and then it will all be blue skies and sunny days from there on, is that how it works?

I don’t know anything about this situation or the people involved and am there for probably going to be shit on for commenting, but I can’t help myself. I just don’t understand why someone would try and force someone to apologize (in a public forum). Where’s the satisfaction in demanding a person say a word that they don’t even mean?

Incognitos probably right, this is probably more about demanding attention from the individual, rather than being overwhelmed with the desire for an apology.

lol, this post is probably a mistake, but I don’t usually get involved with all the little bitch fests and am just feeling a little opinionated this morning. So be it.

it is just a post-incident discussion now, meeka has severed herself from sab and thelab.

if this is the policy here, that if someone won't respond to conflict then it be considered ok to take it public, then it clearly isn't a place i feel comfortable

It was taken public by dworx, as it was the sole manner in which he could communicate to her after she had severed her personal ties to him. I think it's a fair last ditch attempt at communication from him.

On the flipside, do you think it's necessary that a person should just shut up and take when someone makes allegations against them and then goes incommunicado? I think it's sad that some members would rather sever ties with this community than to try to repair the damage.
