Alright, which one of you are responsible for this?

Bloody good effort, and apparently he grew meter long gourds before moving onto pumpkins.

These are his top tips:

Five tricks for a monster pumpkin

1. Alternate seaweed and fish fertiliser every three days.

2. Use calcium enhancer.

3. Slosh molasses over the leaves each feed.

4. Good seed and good soil.

5. Bury the vine to produce more roots.

I'll post some more up when I return home. She's getting pretty big but after seeing that bloke in the paper with his 380kg monster i'ma little deflated. After reading his growing technique I see where Ive gone wrong. One bag of horse poo scattered around it and only water from the sky prolly aint gonna cut it.

Well it turns out I have normal blue (jarradale ?) pumpkins. The person that sold the seeds (ebay) obviously thought his pumpkin was a giant when really it was just large

I have been waiting for them to change colour as all of the giant ones that I have seen are orange but there is not a hint of orange they are all blue

On a positive note I am going to be able to supply friends and family with enough pumpkin to keep them going for some time. At this point I have about 10 pumpkins on my main (competition) vines and another five or so Kent pumpkins at the moment.

The vines have been hammered by powdery and dowdy mildew but they are still growing , flowering and setting new fruit

I will still measure and weigh the biggest pumpkin when I pick them but I would think I am going to get my ass kicked by most of you.

I only have a size 8 foot :(

Mines slowly dying off, didn't yield anything every time one started growing a possum or birds or dogs would get to it lol

Looking nice GoT, what you planning on doing with your harvest?

So when do we see the photos of Hillbilly's majestic doof-penis in Incog's chapped, country-boy lips?

Hillbilly's other prize (apart from the ring munching from 5-star Charlie) is that all the non-winners will be sending him their season's pumpkins for him to eat. Hope you like pumpkin, cowboy
