IMO no. IMO all babies should be breast fed. But that is my opinion.

I seem to have pissed a fair few people off in this thread...

I think the thing that got me fired up a few days ago was the whole, 'the government is screwing me over and I can't do anything about it' stance. If it bugs some of you enough to bother looking into then why don't you go and get active and try to change it. The whole notion of powerlessness gets my goat. No one is pointing a gun at your head and telling you what to think, yet, if you are so passionate about the fluoridation of water then put some effort into changing it. Oh and before you ask me why I don't be the change I want to see in the world.... I am already :)

peace

Good call on social responsibility kindness, clearly svarg has ingested too much bisphenol-A if he's willing to buy the capitalist lie that his vote wont make a difference. It's never your government until they want to build a mine or a railroad over your house.

"social responsibility". well good for you. i much prefer passive resistance. but by all means form your little group and take on the world. if you make enough noise you will be infiltrated like all well meaning gatherings are.
i must ask how many of the thousands of laws passed last year, both local and federal, did you vote for? how about, even knew of before you cast your vote?
i am glad you think the zionist system we are enslaved to is something worth fighting for. well done, arctor. keep up the fluoride intake it's working wonders for you and don't forget to watch the news.
take care mate.

Harvard Study Finds Bisphenol A In Dental Fillings And Sealants, Media Spin Begins

Anthony Gucciardi
www.ShatterLimits.com
September 8, 2010

"After a new study out of Harvard Medical School revealed that dental fillings and sealants contain dangerously high levels of the deadly chemical bisphenol A (BPA), some dentists are now claiming that these fillings and sealants are still perfectly safe for use in children."

http://shatterlimits...ia-spin-begins/

it would seem that those pesky dentists are at it again. first they say fluoride is good for you and now bisphenol A is good for your teeth as well. i think the title of this thread should be changed to "don't believe anything the dentist tells you!"

Not all baby's mums can breast feed...it's bad enough for their self-esteem and feeling like a Woman that they can't, let alone saying shit like that!
Preferrable SURE...should...probably...well that made my missus' day anyway :wave-finger:
We use and I mean "WE" cause I love doing it BPA free stuff.

BTW I lived in Bundanoon and they introduced the bubbler-no water bottle thing yet there is a brand out here that says "Collected from the natural springs from the Southern Highlands" or there abouts.

WTF?

Democracy is worth dying for, ask any zionist who survived WWII.
The Victorian Health (Fluoridation) Act 1973 states that the annual average for fluoride in drinking water shall not exceed a level of 1mg/L.

by all means arctor, shout your fluoride induced patriotic slogans if it makes you feel better. nothing is worth dying for, certainly not this quasi dictatorship we are enslaved to. you never did answer my questions though. how many of the thousands of laws passed last year, did you vote for or even know about?

Codex Alimentarius is coming to australia.

"I am saddened to say that on June 10th, 2010, Obama signed Executive Order #13544 which mandates that the US is adopting Codex Alimentarius. This legislation, *originating from the United Nations*, in effect, begins a worldwide campaign for massive hunger and starvation. We fought them for 5 years and defeated them in Congress each year. We also assisted Canada over those years and were successful in defeating C.A. in Canada too. As of today, I do not know what has happened in Canada regarding this dire situation.

Now, with a stroke of a pen, and quietly behind the scenes when everyone was focused on the Gulf Oil Spill, he effectively launched Codex Alimentarius in the US, which is intended to bring ALL vitamin and mineral supplements and natural health remedies and technologies to an end. The CDC and the HHS *can now make illegal*, all alternative health remedies and technologies. This bill renders all alternative health remedies "unscientific" and not provable by the FDA. This legislation is a huge step in population control, giving the pharmaceuticals full control over the health of all individuals, which is what the global socialists have wanted for years."

http://rense.com/general92/adopt.htm

when this happens here, the days of this site will be numbered, because the discussion of herbs and herbal remedies online will be deemed illegal.

so much for a democracy worth dying for. but don't worry mate, have another glass of tap water and leave your life and health in the hands of criminals.

cheers.

True democracy is universal and bears no relation to patriotism. Until we achieve this none of us have direct input on laws passed. Unfortunately 'passive resistance' has failed every community that has resorted to it (eg indigenous peoples) thus far. If you believe nothing is worth dying for that is your prerogative.

In what context do you believe inaction to be productive? Democracy can only be won through participation.

All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing
They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety

Passive resistance to the system is productive in that it cuts off the lifeblood of a runaway system holding the world hostage... Instead of reasoning with this psychopath, I'm getting the fuck out of the building!

Actively fighting an inherently corrupt system is futile. It is a) banging your head against a brick wall and b ) singling you out for extermination or public ridicule and just general opposition from the wall you're smacking your head against.

Common unity, community, actively built and supported from a grass roots level is needed, not a top-down model mediated through a bureaucratic system where the needs of the people are mistranslated as more slavery... yeah no thanks.

Non compliance or passive resistance to the old system frees up your resources to actively build a new system (a newer version that works better or a radical new direction).

Hey neighbour how you doin today? Let's start a co-op farmville thing while it's still legal! Yeah that's right, mutual back scratching for the benefits of the common unity not the international bankster community of pirates. What you support them!?! What!?! You still believe that they have you're best interests at heart and they represent you and are really trying to work in your benefit? What you rather ridicule me and stick to your big brother stockholm syndrome?

*sigh*

Everybody needs something to believe in. It's just never ourselves, the authorities of the present past and future have us convinced their omnipotence must prevail.

Dude, as expressed in my earlier comment to svarg, it is not possible to ‘get the fuck out of the building’. Unfortunately we have only one planet and decisions of major governments effect us all eg civilian deaths in the US war for oil. Resistance to capitalism is mutually exclusive from advocation of democracy.

Nice link blowng, absolutely agree with both of you that building community is vital in recognising the disenfranchisement brought about by corporations. I saw plenty of active demonstrations that have achieved much over the years, including ones which encouraged abstaining from the poll tax. This was not an act of retreat, but a demonstration of community holding politicians to account, which contributed to the electoral demise of the conservative government. Had our society acted so voraciously, institutions like the commonwealth bank might still belong to the common wealth.

Check that out y'all (if ya haven't seen it already!!!
All plastic bottles (even polycarbonate) leach BPA into our water so the only healthy way is a stainless steel drinking bottle with clean water in it.
We have the products by "Grander" on our drinking facilities... there are expensive and inexpensive options from them and i highly recommend them for having your own clean and structured water.

I brought stainless steel water bottles instead of using plastic. Where the thread has been welded to the bottle, it has a white powdery substance that sits on there when its dry. ( like erosion corrosion marks) . i don't like the smell of stainless steel and i think the water tastes crap out of it. At the supermarket today i got some some more plastic bottles ,'Smash' brand that claim to be BPA free ???. I wanted to get the Burkey water filter but my old man says this is all rubbish and that the government wouldn't put poison in our water. He says i am getting brain washed.( i can hear you laughing). At the moment i am buying water in a 10 liter bladder. $6. 'Pureau' water claims to be fluoride free . So the kids and i are drinking this . Hubby complains about paying for the water as he loads the trolley with crap orange juice, coke for bourbon, lucozade etc. I know buying water this way is not a long term answer, but for now , it will do. I will get my 'burkey' one day.
