Something I've been working on the last couple of afternoons. Its my first play with Triplets. Work in progress, feedback appreciated

yep had a download and listen ,found it very visual , alot going on , could feel a wave coming and then smash may have been my imagination...definitely not doofy which is nice....

There are 3 waves, doesn't necessarily have to be water , each hits a little different, each rolls out as beautiful as it is terrifying..... Need to replace the opening sample and closing sample to fit a little more with the wave theme.

When u say definitely not doofy, what do you mean?

i meant in a good way ... alot of psytrance i have heard is annoyingly doofish , im not sure how to say it correctly as im no music expert , ...i found your beats interesting ,they changed through out and kinda rolled in a way i have not heard b4...some music labelled psytrance is just has the one beat ,repetitive, over bearing and without suspense...i actually saw your music, trippy ,and i was not intoxicated at all

If you can find some Gappeq you would love it. The guy tells the most amazing powerful stories in his night psy. He has been one of my biggest inspirations in the style of work i have been producing. Alot of my friends who were around him for the time he was in sydney have been influenced by his music in some way.

Thats him. He has alot more interesting tracks then that floating around. Its really good that not much of his stuff has leaked tho, so only really good quality versions floating about. He has an album out that is probably available on psyshop. You wont be dissapointed.

Definately feeling the Gappeq influence. Might post a more technical review later/after a few more listens.

I can do about 40mins of Live set. Hopefully in 2 months time i will Have 1hour ready to rock. I did a quick master on this track myself, but it could definitely be done better in someones more pro studio.
I am set up in a room with cement walls and tiled floors. Makes it hard to get the finer details right. I will be getting the main backbone of my live set mastered by Baphomet Engine and Cymazz so by then things should be alot tighter.

Hey man are you still doing the radio show in melbs that one of the peeps here heard you on?

Oh yeah, i haven't named this project yet. Still going under my DJ moniker. I really cant think of something good,

any suggestions everybody?

maybe just one small thing though...there is a frequency in there that is slightly irritating...I think it's the reverb tails...they are too hissy and there is not enuf...........space in between sounds if you know what I mean.

Yep,

Yeah your right mate, definitely re verb tails ,I think when i mastered it the compression brought the reverb out too much, there is not alot of dynamic range its just all fuckin loud, hehehe. Probably can be fixed to create a little bit more space in the very high frequency range. Thanks for that , i will play some more with it. Its really hard with all the room verb here. I will play with some more eqing and post again, if you could listen in your studio chiral and tell me if the changes are for the better that would be great. Rockin man, thanx for the feedback.

Anyone got any suggestions for a project name. I cant seem to come up with anything that catchy and suits the style???
