Is it possible to extract the safrole from Piper Auritum and if someone was to do this what would be the best method to use?

I ask this question hypothetically and am fully aware that safrole is illegal to possess.

oh, come on.
how do essential oils get extracted,
it's common school knowledge or not?
but maybe you even know more than most of us about this and want to discuss new methodes...

even if you ask hypotheticly, i close this topic.
i would like to learn more about this process aswell, so maybe you can post about it at the chem section, by keeping the topic on very general terms.

theoreticly one would steam destill the herb, and than still again to get the different fractions by using different temperatures.
