mark ryden
pretty much the pioneer of abstract pop surrealism.

he uses blends of occult, popular culture and esoteric imagery... read an interview with him in the age 3 years ago and he said he hadnt taken any drugs for artistic inspiration other then caffeine and nicotine...

pretty much my favourite artist.!

ive had re-current visions of the eye in the pyramid quite akin to those in your pic rahli... where did you source that image?
(and is it jsut me with the whole eye in the pyramid 'hyroglyphic immersion' thing?)
it is what it is... that much you can be sure.

Hey e,

I created the image from a picture i took of a Lucasium stendactylumAttached File  Rick.jpg   331.11K   5 downloads

I then cropped the eye out and copied, flipped, turned and overlayed the original image to get my avitar image.

I then cropped out the mid-lateral stripe from a picture of a Carlia rufilatusAttached File  Carli.jpg   306.59K   1 downloads flipped it and joined it end for end. Attached File  carlia_strip.jpg   200.5K   3 downloads This image was then stretched to the to the same dimensions as the avitar pic Attached File  stretched_carlia_stripe.jpg   42.07K   2 downloadsand overlayed to give the attached pic.

Turned out pretty cool with lots of fractals and reflections.

to me, the image in the mozaic u made looks like an incan/mayan pyramid with a large dilated eye in the centre with somekind of waterfall/energy field surrounding it... which is what i have had re-occurring visions of since i was 14.
the last time (a few weeks ago) i had reptillian/serpentine entities swimming through the fractal/logos/hyroglyphic sea.

awesome work on the graphics bro.. props!

Chosen cells glands and transmittors blast the body with joy Astral feet running

^^^ :drool2: All 20+ alkaloids I would assume to still be in the mix. I wonder how processed it is, surely injecting unprocessed opium would be asking for vein-clogging death?

This is the tree frog that lived in my back toilet for around 6 months until an old flatmate flushed the poor bugger. I have a few of them in my backyard but they don't always show themselves. They've got unusual cross-hair pupils and I found out they were Perron's Tree frog. So cute!
