0 gerbil Posted December 27, 2010 ummmm..ivy? You really need to give better information if you want people to ID plants for you. Like i mean if i post a hair up, can you tell me which mammal it is? I might do that later if there's enough interest

0 planthelper Posted January 5, 2011 (edited) i don't know the name now, but i'm sure it's a weed i have seen at varoius costal towns. i remeber at least 3 plants of this kind in byron bay. i can only speculate it's this weed, some people working weed control in your state might now the name... 0 Bert&Ernie Posted January 18, 2011 (edited) hey i think your right planter thanks i guess my mum was right any one know of any uses for this besides eating the roots Edited January 18, 2011 by aussiejwerta
0 planthelper Posted January 20, 2011 my mum said it was some kinda patato but im not sure it would have helped a great deal id'ing this plant if we would have been given the "potatoe" information earlier. if your mom knew what it was, why did you not tell us? now i look a bit poorly, because of this. anyway, sweet potatoe's have some serious weed potential, and i wonder now if what i saw, in byron bay were in fact "wild" escaped sweet potatoe plants, but there are many plants with heart shaped leaves. as a general rule, please members, try to add as much information about a plant which you want id'd, otherwise it feels to get sent on a wild goose chase.
