Recommended Posts

For aussies, diggers club always seem to have painted mountain corn seeds in stock. Which look to be basically the same kind of heirloom corn as this.

shortly after we bought our house i dug up the front yard & planted Indian corn....strictly for the mulch value....neighbors complained & called City Code enforcement, who told me i could plant anything i wanted, even an oil derrick, just no junker cars!

OK, this thread has confused me.. there is painted mountain corn, glass corn and indian corn. they all look the same to me (the cobs at least) so, are they the same thing? if not, what is the difference?

Ghosty glass gem and painted mountain corn are different varieties of corn. I am pretty sure indian corn is just a name for any unusual native american varieties. There is a good article about painted mountain corn. I will try to find it again and link it here

Check it out http://www.seedweneed.com/index-1.html
