What is growing in that wheelbarrow? Is it one plant or two? The leafy part looks like spider plants, but I have never seen the stalky/flower plant before.

Terscheckii has been growing upwards, slowly, for the past few months however I've just noticed it's put out a new rib :)

last night i had a horrible nightmare that a giant crested pach i had gifted me by mutant rotted completely within a day that i received it

this morning i go out to see a mamillaria has rotted completely and is now dead

synchronicity? or do i have a psychic connection to my plants?

hehehehe that's pretty interesting

I think its somewhat connected to splatter cinema.. :P

do you really have a crest from me?

=====

the weather has been crazy around here... rainy and sunny warm alternate and I cant get to organise my shit as this seems like one of my important years ... I am checking by cuttings and all everyday as there's still humidity with all that recent rain..

I have found out that in wet days, its not very sensible to place cuttings in perlite to root, even if the shit is dry, supposedly... ... Dry out the perlite first, in sun, then place cuttings.. same if youre rooting inside the house.

My name is Chris and I'm a cacti-addict. Spent this morning in this room. Fixing the lighting, looking up collection site numbers and correcting the text on the name-plates. Very nice morning. Hope the first row of cacti will stop growing etiolated with the LEDs a bit lower down. Great thread! Thank you.

saw a proper little variegated seedling in a batch c. peruviana x e. peruviana, a little patch of green on otherwise pale, it's been alive in the open for about 2 months now

i think it should be a great candidate for a first ever graft

Packed the whole collection into a truck and moved them to my mums ready to start planting them out..

Moving house is never fun but they will love their new in ground home!

Got a big green house to clean up for the potted plants

Then i can hit the road for a while..
