Free Farm Land for Organic Permaculture and to grow your own home Free

Recommended Posts

I came across this advertisement on Gumtree today. A guy named unconditional love moon. Ill copy paste his intro below :

"Hello brothers and sisters of family earth,

Do you desire to heal the planet?
Do you desire a place to live but have little or no money?

This project is done with 100% no money....none spent and none to be made.
No need to invest (which i only add becauses so many of you have enquired about this)

A month ago....out of sheer curiosity i ran a series of ads looking for unused or degraded farm land for regeneration into Organic Permaculture to feed th commnity for free.

In the first 2 weeks since commencing the 'spaces of love' project has been generosly offered 12 properties across NSW and 1 in victoria, totalling around 3,000 acres....

we have more now.....

1 in burringba
1 in the channon,
1 near casino,
2 near grafton
1 near kempsey
1 in newcastle
1 in marulan
about 5-6 in the blue mountains

Many of these places desire to become conscious communities, where families (and individuals)
can live/play/grow in harmony with nature, sustainably for free
and all of them rescue and rehablitate animals.

P.s.
We incorporate all of nature into the system, knowing that nature doesn't make mistakes
and even 'introduced' species like foxes, have a role to play."

What do people think about this idea. I am part of a large project with about 120 members who have been donated up to 70 acres of land free by a generous and visionary local property owner an hour south of Adelaide where we are growing organic food crops to give out free to the community at large. I am seeing things like this advert and movements such as the one I am helping out ( named growfree ) popping up all the time. What do people think of the above advert and do you guys have anything like this going on in your part of Australia ?

permaculture communities are amazing, I plan on visiting some in south america in the future

unconditional love moons 'spaces of love' project has potential but requires a whole lot of human-power, and from what i saw on facebook everything is still up in the air with the land... i'll be keeping in the loop with it though! the more people who become aware about these organic and loving movements the better :)

I think this grounds up type of movement into growing large scale organic ( with incorporation of medicinal herbs and ethnobotanicals too ) is the best form of resistance. It is so easy to get these types of things going. So many sympathetic landowners willing to come on board. Seeds are free, sun is free, water is free ( for now at least) and volunteers once they see tangible results are always keen to get on board. Free organic food for the people like it should be. Which has flow on effects in so many ways.

The group I work with, Growfree ( on FB too ) have a volunteer base of around 120 which seems to be growing exponentially and a healing spa/resort named authenticity has given us free run of 70 acres to grow food, medicines and as a refuge for rescued farm animals. - The guy who founded it quit a phd in geothermal engineering to launch this vision. It's bloody awesome to be a part of. Unconditional Love moon shows above it is quite easy to do as well if you have time on your hands and this stuff interests.

Im currently studying herbology on the side of my bach science and plan on incorporating a medicinal garden into the gardens of Authenticity.

Very interesting. The guy seems legit and pretty genuine, but I would be wary of any operation like that that advertises a free-for-all sort of situation. I'm sure the guy's heart is in the right place, but the problem is the sort of people that would be attracted. 90% will probably be like-minded and good-hearted people, but then there's the 10% who are looking to take advatage and that can make all the difference. If you are looking to create and/or be part of a survival community, then please be extra careful of anyone who advertises. Make plans with family and friends, not randoms on the internet. Even if you don't get along with your family... they are people you KNOW

even introduced species like foxes have a role to play???? what the F?

I suppose cats will fit in just fine too hey. What role do foxes play. Sounds like a whole

heap of extreme tree hugging hippy shit.

foxes eat a shitload of baby rabbits & mice, tho i'd prefer to have none of those 3 to start with.

i'd also prefer "extreme tree hugging hippy shit" over a lot of other stuff that is happening on this planet at the moment.

Interesting that they control other ferals. I know foxes put a lot of pressure on the populations of small ground-dwelling marsupials.

extreme sorry, I meant over the top.

I like to aim high, but over the top I am not. I am a realist and mug bean.

do you desire a place to live or have little or no money???

Sounds like a induction to a cult, that prays on people that have no place to live

or a doing it hard.

have fun with the organic permaculture when poultry are free ranged in the system.
