Plants to satisfy my needs!

Recommended Posts

Hello everybody, I'm interested in sourcing some of the plants I haven't gotten around to getting yet.

I would prefer seeds although small plants would be okay.

These are:

Turnera diffusa

Zornia latifolia

Galbulimima belgraviana and/or the respective Homalomena sp.

(The four K's)

Sceletium tortuosum

Catha edulis

Piper methysticum

Mitragyna speciosa

If any of you could pm me if you have any of these seeds,

I will keep the list updated as you wonderful people fulfill my wishes! :)

I bought 1kg of Damiana and have been grabbing the seeds out whenever i use some - had one go a germinating without success so far.

If I can get any to germinate and set seed i'll be happy to share the love around ;-)

Hmmm I wonder if the herbs you received were treated in any way that could effect germination (ie heat) or if the herbs were stored for too long?

Keep trying, I've recently been giving this plant a bit more of my attention lately and I reckon it should be quite a gem in amongst other enthos!

Yo...........Where are you located? You mention "Cold" in your Climate or Location.. this will be a problem for a few of your desired species..

Piper methysticum does not set seed - propagation is entirely vegetative.

Good luck with it all...

I also thought Mitragyna speciosa needed an incredibly specific environment and to be a decent size to be able to produce it's defensive toxins?

That's interesting I will have to wait til herbalistics have more stock of their piper if I can't source some here.

As for the Mitragyna, that will be my challenge. I do have all sorts of propagation stuff inside so it's worth a go. :)

It is not about it growing I am quite serious it will nit produce defensive alkaloids indoors. Maybe if you stress it and use fans on it and stuff.
