Which Datura is this?

Question

Hey , so I came across this Datura growing very close to the ocean on a beach in Sumbawa in Indonesia, and was wondering what Datura species it is. The day before it had a large white flower where the sexual parts were visible ( not like the stramonium i have grown) But by the next day it had withered in the heat and I was unable to take a pic of the flower. The seeds were light browny orange like some metals i have seen . Is it possible to tell by the spikey pods ? 12062010004.jpg12062010003.jpg

Thanks shruman, that's a cool identification key...good ol' erowid. So it may well be (edit:more likely Datura metel var. rubra) . Very interesting, I love the nightshade family :drool2:

Wow!...I'm pretty confident with my Datura and Brugmansia ID but that guide is amazing!!!I'll definitely be using that for any difficult ID's in the future.
