Mycovative - Perth, Western Australia

Recommended Posts

To anyone who is interested!

I’ve just started up my own fungi organization over here in Perth, Western Australia called Mycovative and want to carry on with what PUBF was doing as well as go into the biotechnology, medicinal, cultivation and mycoremediation aspects of fungi. I will be scouting around looking for people interested, primarily students, to get involved and hopefully turn them to a life a mycology – because we all know we need more of them !

You can check out my website and social medias below for more information, also if you know of anyone who would be interested in getting involved in the Perth, WA region.

Website: www.mycovative.com.au

Nice work mate, I'm sure if you get it started there'd be eastern folks willing to give you a hand over here.

Peace

Yeh im willing to get support from anyone anywhere really however currently the organization's sole member is me so it would be cool to find some open-minded individuals here in Perth that would be interested in joining the journey. Forums like this often attract interesting people :D

There are a heap of WA folk who post in the gyms yearly thread so if this is there thing you have an audience :)

problem is people often hate new groups cos they flop! I've been apart of a flopper myself so I'm not pointing fingers btw! I'd flyer the local Uni and maybe even speak to the relevant depts to let the students know your around! Great thing is your an open slate purely accepting new members so it could be anything!

Im keen Shaman. Just gotta wait until I get better at time management :)

My knowledge is pretty crap, well very crap actually, but I do love a rambling shroom hunt through the bush or forest, and have access to a great place to stay in the heart of the SW forest. Once I get used to Uni and actually using my brain productively again for the first time in 20 years I should have plenty of time to join you.

I do agree that this is common however the community and awareness side of things is just one segment of what we aim to do. The Bio-tech side is something Im really aiming for!
