any better feeling than spotting a new pup?

depends on the pup... I recently spotted a new pup in my Ariocarpus agavoides... yeah it rulez

other amazing moments include sprouting of rare seeds, successful grafts, rooting a slow grower, seeing a flower for a first time and much more!

Yesterday I moved all my smaller Trichs out of my shed and into full sunlight. The shed has no front so it's a great place to store them as they receive afternoon sun and remain dry during Winter.

I do love spotting a good pup but it slightly annoys me on an 'already skyrocketting' , 'main flowering column' plant ...

like this one that I keep slicing them off of..

post-14443-0-83713100-1439091302_thumb.j

[hopefully that's not it tryna flower each time :o ]

...or when they keep re-occurring below my Aztekium ritterii graftages...

..and it was always beautiful music to my eyes to read cool SAB'ers having spare :

"undesireable branch pups" ... mmmm :*]

Weeding the onion weed out of this garden is like painting the harbour bridge.

Most of these went in last spring, they're doing OK.

Unfortunately I've cut all the bigger columns out over the last few months.

yeah coloured flesh can be tricky... I remember when I first tried to graft off a ario kotso graft, gifted to me and it was purple inside and I threw it away thinking it had rotted, lol!

Repotted some things, but took pictures mostly.

An unidentified trichocereus, probably a mutt:

What I guess to be a cuzco?:

A grandiflorus that I've been needing to repot and separate for a year:

Do you guys like succulents too?

sempervivum 'pacific devil's food', it starting to grow more greenish after repotting.

Haworthia 'concolor':

and an aloe, cat for scale.

Why???

They look healthy and attractive too.

Why not give them away or even sell them?

I'm sure a lot people (including me) would like them.

That's really neat! Are they taking the seed just to get the fruit and fruit remnants on the seed or after the seed itself?

They take the seed and part of the fruit. But sometimes a seed gets left behind.

Hey bit :)

Thanks for the tip, but they don't bother me at all. I get a few seeds and they get some too. My Lophophoras produce enough for me and other small critters ;)

I was listening to music with my headphones while starring at my plant. I felt the wire of the headphones get caught up in something and I heard something fall behind me. This what I have found.

Ironically, I was just looking at it and wondering how this big crest segment is holding itself up with its bigger part suspended in the air.
