Gimli Posted April 20, 2015 Looking at my Lophophora var San Tiburcio and some of them are a shade of pinky/pale red. Sowed 9/4, never seen direct sun, not over watered (I don't think anyway). My other lophs (diffusa, williamsii) didn't do this. Ideas? Also, Put some of my older (3 month old) trich seedlings into filtered sun for about an hour last week - now looking a little pale/see through. Sunburn? Cheers... Señor Corrochio Posted April 22, 2015 (edited) I've actually seen a few pics of rootstocks forcing pups through the scion without making a mess, though can't say for sure that's what's happening here. Here's one but I've seen it with thicker stocks as well. https://mycotopia.net/topic/90653-pereskiopsis-root-stock-puping-out-of-a-lophophora-scion/ Edited April 22, 2015 by Señor Jefferson

Maxuel Powers III Posted April 22, 2015 I was experimenting with chemicals on my cacti and turned 30 of them albino with isoprophohol. Now after a couple days they are turning green again with some yellow and white still pachy left over. Looks like all cacti will live though, all still have nice green tips.
