I wish you luck! I ordered seeds from Koehres; Aricarpus and Aztekium and have had ZERO luck, twice now....

I have had great results from their ariocarpus seeds. Although recently, I've experienced and heard from others, that something happened to all of their lophophora williamsii stock. All of the variations Ive tried and my friends have tried have been around 1-5% germination rates.

Hmmmm I should look into & see if Koehres would be interested in buying my bulk loph & ario seeds, then he can turn around & resell seeds that actually germinate to you guys.

Ordered some variegated Astrophytum asterias from thailand and china, the thailand ones had low germ rates and no variegates, but the china seeds had 75% germination and about 75% variegates. SUPER stoked about that. So I went back and bought a ton more for future sowings.

This is roughly a thousand tersecii seeds open pollinated. This was two seed pods worth, I think the pods were picked a bit early, and I have no experience harvesting seed, so who knows if these will be viable.

I recently sowed 10 different L.Williamsii varieties and had good germ rates from 7 out of the 10, but didn't get a single starter from the varieties named "huizache", "mazapil" and only a couple from "magdalena".

I was really looking forward to "huizache" in particular. Has anyone else had a similar experience with these?

Nice one, Ohlone. I like all the recent scop-mania.

Macrogonus x scopulicola

The F2 of that should yield a few interesting specimens. Both tend to be quite fat but scop grows fast.

I've got some of mesas 'slender stem short spine' macrogonus sprouting now. It should be fun to see what the hell they mean by that, lol

I've seen bridgesii that someone with imagination could call a slender stem short spine macro.

Hey Ohlone, where did the Scop (DE) come from?

I think the scopulicola seeds from (DE)=Germany are the same like the scop seeds from SS. I now only one guy in germany that sells scop seeds and He sells seeds to SS. I am in contact with him.

I buy scopulicola x pachanoi seeds from him.

Did SS have New wild collected pachanoi seeds? Pach BK14518.4

Greetings

I got them from Cephalocarpus on ebay. Is that who you are talking about?

The BK14518.4 is an open pollinated pachanoi from Parque de las Leyendas in Lima. From their recent trip down there.
