TBM very strange form.

Question

hey, soo i found this TBM one year ago, after a talk with the owner i take a small cutting.

here the mother plant (it growing wild)

did you see something like this? how to label it?

how can i make my cutting going monstrose again?

I remember seeing you post this up on facebook. Nice cactus, love the lichen on the mother plant!

Grow it with basically no water in shitty soil with few nutrients and it will more likely grow monstrose again. Giving them nice conditions seems to make them more likely to go back to normal, IME.

seems that what you write is right.

this plant get very good contidions, allot of water and sun,

the mother plant grow in very hot contidions and i dont think she get water.

this plant start a diet now :)

There are some forms of bridgesii that do result in monstrous growth even when watered and fertilized frequently........
