Berengar Posted April 22, 2014 Lactarius indigo is a mycorhizzal mushroom and unfortunately can't be grown artificially. Technically it can, but a clean pine seed needs to be germinated in a sterile environment, inoculated with mushroom spores, and raised in sterile conditions for a year. Then it's transfered outside, and you hope for 5-7 years that the mycorhizzal link took, and wait for the first mushrooms to appear. It's a shame, L. indigo looks amazing, I would love to see them growing in my par of the world.
