Monsters/crest for identification

Question

P1130167.jpg P1130168.jpg

1. Cereus sp. came as "aetiopica" , I think its C. aethiops

P1130197.jpg P1130198.jpg P1130199.jpg

2. Clone of nursery origin and of unknow genus / species, according to cactusart

its mostly sold as Azureocereus sp. and its obviously a crest of a largish columnar

Any ideas?

Yes, the second plant (the cereus) is not a cereus but a Pilosocereus. Could be Pilosocereus Gounelli.

Hey Mutant, can you make better pics of them so I can see the spination a little bit better. I think it´s totally similar to this type of Lophocereus monstrose but I need to see the spination to rule anything out. Does it start reddening? Has it hairs?

The 1st one is a new-comer, hasnt had the chance to pump/grow yet. Yes there is reddening / purpling... It does look somewhat similar, but I dont think so... The spination seems longer and the body shape more blue than green. Also it came with name which could be right.

Will try to take better pics next time.. You need pics for the 2nd one too?

thats the one
