Question

The friend who gave me these told me that they're very slow growers.

First one is Epithelantha sp., maybe bokei, the second one is Blossfeldia lilliputiana.

I asked him if they're Pelecyphora and he said they're not.

I can't trust his I'd though cuz he calls Stenocereus, Lamero.

However the spines on these don't look like the regular Pelecyphora spines. I

Stenocereus was originally called Lemairocercereus. I guess that´s what he might have meant. And the first one is epithelantha micromeris or bokei, just like berengar said. Second one is a Blossfeldia.

So that's why.

What's really strange is that he and another cacti nursery owner call melted wax bridgesii and pachanoi lemairo as well.

No way. Only T. pseudopectinatus or T. valdezianus could look somewhat similar, but this is Epithelantha 100%.
