0 Evil Genius Posted November 4, 2014 (edited) Could be a Pachycereus. Pringlei or one of the less known Ones. Can you show it from another Angle? Edited November 4, 2014 by Evil Genius
0 Dreamwalker. Posted November 5, 2014 Could be a Pachycereus. Pringlei or one of the less known Ones. Can you show it from another Angle? unfortunately not...(its not mine) It may have flowered (which would kinda mean its probably not pringlei) ..I'm trying to find out what the fruit & flower were like.. Do you think it might be something like Pilosocereus polygonus?..spines look to short though.....(its in a Cuban collection)
0 Optimystic Posted November 5, 2014 Reminds me of Stenocereus Stellatus but I dunno
0 M S Smith Posted November 5, 2014 I was thinking along the lines of a Stenocereus too. ~Michael~
0 mutant Posted November 16, 2014 EG , couldnt it be some Corryocactus? it seems somewhat thinnish
0 Evil Genius Posted November 18, 2014 Hi Mutant, I am halfway sure that I can rule out Coryocactus. At least it´s none of the Ones I have Pictures of. At the Moment, I think it´s actually a Stenocereus. Spination like this can be found on Pachycereus & Stenocereus. Will check my Pics again. I know the cactus somehow but forgot where i know it from.

0 mutant Posted November 18, 2014 fair enough, it does look like some Steno, but the original picture shows somewhat thinny ribs, and not the general pumped look of stenocereus ribs...
0 Dreamwalker. Posted November 19, 2014 (edited) I think the best pic match so far goes to TH......polaskia chichipe although the images I get from a search look more like zed's black spine been trying to grow polaskia chichipe from seed ...but not having much luck. Fruit is said to be a good eater. Edited November 19, 2014 by Dreamwalker.
