White spines pasacana? ID help

Question

P1140216.jpg P1140217.jpg

I have many pasacanas, both blond-spined and brownish-spined, but I haven't seen any with spines that fade to white...

well there is some strange specimen I have been long puzzled by, with pale spines, but its still differnt than this one.

Could it be some chilensis form and not pasacana? it seems to grow pretty slow

I'd guess T. poco or some variant of pascana.

I don't think it's a chilensis. Chilensis spines are very tough, like you cant really move them around at all. They're fixed in place and don't bend. Plus they're sharp as hell, like abnormally sharp, they go right through leather gloves.
