'yamas' is said when raising or clingin glasses, some regard it as unlucky to do this with water , irregardelss if its a drink combined in a meal or not.

it is also often traditionally said when firing up a spliff

so its not really said about enjoying a meal, mut more like "cheers" or the german "Prost" or the polish(?) "nostrovia"
