solomon Posted May 10, 2015 Heya plant heads been lurking but not posting much of late, work and moving has put a bit of a hold on my gardening. saving up the last month and a bit to head over to Queensland to see Australia for the first time heading to the Daintree and going to Bushweek if funds allow. going to be looking for work and hopefully staying in the area for a few months at least before trying to get to Indonesia next year for the eclipse. can't wait to see everything for myself as it unfolds but if there is anything anyone really recommends checking out let me know eh plants animals rocks history people sights anything...... much love SAB! see you in June Australia 5 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
in_spirit Posted May 10, 2015 The daintree is great, kuranda is a nice touristy place, the scenerygoing up the falls is magnificent, the whole east coast is great cant speak for the west coast, if you get to NSW get on a train and head west to blue mountains, check out the 3sisters, the canyon here is huge i think i have read about 11km wide, might be wrong some other saber will correct me i am sure, its great camping, tho getting cold this tome of year?? The site is as close as roads get to cedar bay, ultra lush.... you may never want to go back to nz after minimum winter temps of 20 degrees, max 30....
