The areols were to oval but the shape of the ribs is familiar somehow

The big, wooly areoles, very aggressive but straight V-notches and the white spines with persistent black tips are the things that say "stetsonia" to me.

The big wavy "S" shape to the ribs also helps, though that feature is also seen in trichos it's adding all of those features up that results in telling me it's a Stet. :)
