Question

Hi all. Hope fellow east coasters are doing well in this weather.

Took these photos hoping to get an I'd. I know its young, but is this a trichocereus??? Seems off to me. Anyway thanks :-)

You know, there are some Stetsonia Corynes that can look very cuzcoensis-like. And if I´d have to guess, I´d say Stetsonia coryne. I mean, check out the spination, the spine color (including the yellow one on top) and that downward spine.

When spines are growing they are very similar to the colour of the pic EG posted. Be cool if it is a stetsonia....

Time will tell I guess.

My other Cuzco seedlings look different I.e. the spines are more chaotic than this one, this has nice ordered consistent spine pattern..

The single long spine reminds me of some kk trichs I havr like 2150, 2148.

Seen this form before... Cuzco like but it is not a Cuzco.

It is a nice form. Worth growing but spines are a pain

kk 2150 (sab sourced), I think is also cuzco despite the more orangish spines
