betle leaf & nuts

hI!

a few pics of my piper betle.

this one shows the flower a bit better.

and now the betle nut, which comes from the areca catechu palm, watch out it's, explosive stuff, hehehe.

the piper looks naturaly so luscious and yummy, maybe natures way of inviting us to have a nibble.

Hey planthelper! cool pics dude, do you grow the areca nut yourself?

Shame that you can't grow that other Piper species where you live, I imagine it would flourish in those conditions.

the nut's come from the botanical garden (i had permission).

the piper plants, i got from a guy living in rockhampton, maybe they will survive my winters.

i will take one plant indoors, and leave the other one outdoors, i will do the same with my areca catechu palm seedlings.

the avatar is agent 86 from the old show get smart, the inventors of the mobile phone!
