Maxuel Powers III Posted April 21, 2015 (edited) I have lots of veggie heirloom seeds from US and some GMO's selectivly breed to grow in FL so I think you guys might be able to grow FL plants in AU. Especially if your in the subtropics. We have our own brocolli, kale, etc.. How cold does it get in AU cause UF (university of Florida) Agriculture has been working on making low frost peaches, apples, plums and other northern fruit. The way it works is a peach or apple requires 500-600 hours depending on species of weather below 40f to trigger them to make peaches and plums. Well UF has been working on it 30 years and has gotten some strains down to 80 hours of below 40f to trigger fruiting. If you guys think these would grow in AU I'll try to get one to yah... You can research all the strains and types on the site and I could go buy them during yearly sale. I also have access to Star Fruit seeds.
