Cane toads are funny.

They are like white Australians!

One invasive species that introduced and is trying to stop the other!

I love you Ozzies, but appreciate the irony.

Well, Australia is so lovely and diverse, no wonder all kinds of invasive species thrive there! :)

Btw, cane toads look great, I have a cane toad skin keychain on my hiking backpack, I love it and it's a great conversation starter. :)

I actually saw an article on the damage cane toads do to australia, but I have seen others that show nature adapts to them. There have been studies on snakes, from the south and the north, the northern snakes recognise cane toads and leave them alone, while the southern snakes don't recognise them and will take them, the studies used toads that had their glands removed so basically non toxic, and I gleaned this information from the local reptile park, lol. Cant remember who did the study but yeah nature adapts.
