flowers too bright for maidenii imo, probably longifolia.

not maidenii... longfolia, looks like it was growing in a fairly shady spot or your sample was taken from a low branch that got not much sun?

i would like to add, that the pyllodes can change shape dramasticly, if a plant experiences adverse conditions.

in short, according to my own observations, acacias stressed for water (and possible light aswell) display more narrow shaped phyllodes. waterstress can turn a broad shaped phyllode into a narrow one, thus making id even more difficult.

but as paradox point's out, he even takes those differences into account already when id'ing,

wau, i'm impressed.
