Dreamwalker. Posted July 17, 2014 (edited) ...1000th post seed giveaway... I'm not sure if anyone will be interested in this seed. Cereus peruvianus x Trichocereus pachanoi (Trichocereus pachanoi mother... I'm 99% sure, the pach had 1 open flw and the cereus pollen was collected 2 days earlier, I'm rural, no cacti for miles & miles, besides in was in the conservatory). Possibly the cereus pollen induced the trich to self pollinate?? only growing them will establish if they are a x or a good T pachanoi not the PC form. A propagator or heatpad would be needed for germination in temperate climates. Why x them? it was the only pollen I had. What's it good for? novelty....maybe a cold hardy cactus, thats sweet fruiting like the cereus fruit, (trich fruit is bland, but good with liquid honey). So anyone in nz just pm (unlimited supply for nz ) (Haven't had 1 nz member yet) For OZ & beyond I have only 5 lots (at this time) these are only available to anyone who has sent me seed in the past.....STILL HAVE 3 lots LEFT.......... If you have any kind of cacti seed to trade...harrisa...trich...selenicereus...Acanthocereus.. .stenocereus...anything just pm (unlimited supply for real trades) Edited July 21, 2014 by Dreamwalker

solomon Posted June 20, 2016 Anyone grow these out? I ended up with some seed of what I believe to be the same cross in a trade. Sprouts look different to Trichocereus in same conditions...
