nothinghead Posted May 18, 2014 Do we really need so many U.S. news threads on these forums? On the first page of News & Notices there are 7 U.S. specific news threads that don't relate very much outside of the U.S. Compare that with 11 Aus/NZ specific threads on that same page (excluding pinned items), and just 2 other Pacific region threads. Then only 1 from the EU (which happens to be on a topic that does relate outside the region). We're already so saturated with news and opinions from the U.S., why do we need to inflict more upon ourselves? There are already numerous ethnobotany-related forums that are completely U.S.-centric for those who are thirsty for more U.S. opinions and goings on.
