*HELP* USA and abroad majestic animals urgently need YOU!

Last week there was a seizure of up to 80 dogs from a cattle dog breeder in the USA. Latest news is that the couple involved have been charged with 249 city and county violations in regard to animal neglect and cruelty but they have been released from jail on a $127,000 bond. The dogs, meanwhile, are in custody at Pearl River County SPCA and are stretching the shelter to the limit. They need help. They need volunteers, they need foster carers, they need donations. A court case is to be held in the next 2 weeks to decide ownership of the dogs so they cannot leave the local area in the interim. Once the dogs are released to SPCA (fingers crossed) they can be fostered out of the area but for now only local carers can be used. As someone who is lucky enough to share his life with an Australian cattle dog, i urge any of you that are able to help or at least spread the word. these are not your average animal and deserve the world. to be treated like that is just disgusting.

A cattle dog that has not been socialised or trained properly is not an animal that should be given to just anyone, especially if they have young children or other pets. I do hope they find homes though.
