Went to visit the elderly today! These guys are great and sitting on a powerhouse of amazing specimens. Finally remembered to take the camera with!

Those old Lophs are amazing! and the size of those Ario, I have to say it again, OMG!

The Ariocarpi they tell me, are seed grown from the late 60's

They had larger Lophophora clumps however an infection got in when they kindly agreed to someones request of a cutting, this was many years ago and needless to say they don't do that anymore.

This is a pic from one of their six green houses! six I tell you! :o

Also look how weed free the pots r, fuk having to weed that many plants and especially cacti. Ouch!

The rest are good but these are well out of the ordinary

if they ever want to supplement their hobby with a few bob tell them im a collector keen on fresh seed. I can see that A Kotch is starting to flower

Fudge me dead..I too would be keen on seed, and of course, specimens....should buy a greenhouse so i feel their safe..

I wish I had some elderly folk that I could chuck in for the showdown :P

wow!!! I agree, how do all these cacti get watered?? I thought Ariocarpus, Lophs and the precious slow growing ones needed to be individually bottom watered??
