Just using this unused topic to say that I've got a Dracaena Draco dropping seeds all over the back yard if anyone wants any.

I too would like some seeds please.

In the Brisbane city Botanical gardens the little sign near the huge Dracaena draco said that there were only 2 known plants in Australia, is it that rare?

youve got to be kidding!!!

They are all over Perth as is evident from this post - i guess noone bothered to look - same as the WA herbarium saying that Catha is a rare tree in Perth....

I never bothered harvesting the seed from them - and they produce a lot because i thought it was far too common to be of interest

The one i was looking out for was Dracaena cinnabarina - the medicinal species

Starting to sprout at 8 weeks.

Soaked seeds in water for 3 days before planting out. Purely experimental technique, but seems to have worked for me.
