Calaverite Posted June 9, 2020 I am offering $500 cash for a live NZ horopito plant (Pseudowintera colorata) in the Melbourne area or willing to travel to the Victorian boarder in any direction to pick up.

Northerner Posted June 10, 2020 (edited) It's rare af mate. Try ordering seeds from NZ. https://nzseeds.co.nz/ Might get a love letter from customs, might get through though. It's not scheduled so you should be okay as long as they are properly packaged. Edited June 10, 2020 by Northerner
saguaro Posted June 10, 2020 (edited) Hey Calaverite, I have never heard of this plant before now Can you please tell what its used for and why you want it so much? Edited June 10, 2020 by saguaro
Calaverite Posted June 10, 2020 Hi guys , It is mainly used as a culinary type herb because of its peppery taste but also has some other interesting properties and can be used for treating thrush. I want one because It’ll have a place in my edible garden and now I can’t have one I want it even more. nz seeds last had stock in 2018 have emailed them but have not received a response though I have from the numerous other places I’ve tried some are just plane ride in their replies also. It would be sad if I had to resort to buying from the USA an nz native .
waterboy 2.0 Posted June 11, 2020 (edited) If it's just the polygodial content you are chasing , Tasmannia lanceolata may prove a substitute. Edited June 11, 2020 by waterboy 2.0
