sagiXsagi Posted May 18, 2019 (edited) Ι remember there were reports of a percent of variegation in some seed batches of Banisteriopsis. I could find that thread. I am not sure if this is a real variegation or something else, but boy some of these leaves are amazing !!! Has anyone else his plant doing it? the plant seems to throw randomly variegated parts, and I think not all of them have the same degree of variegation. sagiXsagi Posted April 30, 2020 it's almost the same time of the year I made this post. It went un-noticed. I am sure someone has some comment about this... More pictures of this years variegated parts
Strontium Dawg Posted April 30, 2020 One of mine occasionally shows similar "variegation" but I kind of assumed it was due to some type of leaf miner or insect attack.
Northerner Posted April 30, 2020 Could try grabbing one of the variegated shoots and see of you can make a whole plant grow like that.
sagiXsagi Posted May 1, 2020 Thanks. I would love to see more replies, I remember this kind of discussion has been done again before. I googled leaf-miners and nah, its not that. I could try to take variegata cutting to see if it grows as full-on variegata, because I dont think its that stable. Thus I think that any cutting I take from this plant will eventually throw these variegata branches as it grows.
