Hibiscus heterophyllus - Native Hibiscus - Discovered in Hills near home

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I was walking in the hills near home, and noticed a few trees - some in poor state with lovely white/pinkish flowers. I took a branch home, checked the leaves and flowers, which reminded me of hibiscus so i searched for native  hibiscus. The yellow flowers are more common in Queensland,  and the white NSW, which i think being in the Gold Coast hinterland, might be the range of the white flowering native  hibiscus

I have 2 cuttings growing, and seem to be doing okay.  They'd be a nice native flower to have in the garden
